He from the Pines
A downloadable game for Windows
“Once upon a time, there lived an author who had heard news of a recent slaughter.
Out of ideas, inspiration, and thought. He wanted to give the forest a shot
There he traveled, into the dark in search of something to return his spark
Many secrets he will unveil but a terrible fate in case he fails.”
-
He from the Pines is a first-person horror game where you play as a fairytale author with writer's block who stumbles into a dark and mystical forest where you might not be as alone as it first appears…
Take pictures of whatever mysteries lie in the forest to fill out your very own storybook draft with different unique entries of the forest's mysteries and horrors.
The forest has many untold stories to explore, and unsettling sights yet to be seen. Use these clues to find the lost story of the forest, but be wary for he might be watching, he lurks in the dark, he scouts from in the sky… and he does not take kindly to uninvited guests in his forest.

I think it would be a disservice to not at least mention this. When I tried launching the installer, my whole folder froze up and I couldn't do anything to it to undo the freezing.
Task manager, refresh, waiting etc. Nothing.
This hasn't happened before and it made me wonder if there was something wrong with it, or at one point, a virus.
An answer would mean a lot. Also another reason I held off on commenting that is because your page does look to be credible and prolific. So I'd prefer to avoid spreading misinfo, when it could've been simply my pc acting up.
Well that's incredibly concerning! It has worked fine on all of the computers we tried... although that number is pretty limited.
We'll look into it and test it out some more! Sorry for the scare!
It's likely an issue on my end, but of course it couldn't hurt to check. My OS is Win10 Pro and I am on a decently powerful low to mid range rig with an NVIDIA GPU that has run more demanding AAA games fairly well. Which is why double tapping a lil installer exe only to be met with a complete freeze struck me as particularly odd.
Thank you for the quick response.
