A downloadable game for Windows

Gracebound is a fast-paced isometric hack-and-slash focused on mobility, stagger-based combat, and ability synergies.

Players control a holy paladin and fight through enemy encounters using a responsive double-dash system and a set of abilities designed to manipulate enemy positioning and combat flow.

The core gameplay emphasizes:

  • Fast time-to-kill combat encounters

This game was developed as a Futuregames Game Project 2 assignment.

The project focused on collaborative production, scope management, and delivering a playable experience within a short production cycle.

Key Gameplay Systems

  • Double Dash Mobility System – enables aggressive positioning and defensive invulnerability frames

  • Stagger-Based Combat – enemies are interrupted when damaged, allowing players to control encounters

  • Ability Synergy System – abilities are designed to interact with each other and the dash mechanic

  • Short Encounter Loops – combat encounters designed for quick decision making and fast pacing
