Love You To Pieces
A downloadable game for Windows
Love You To Pieces is an asymmetrical co-op game about putting together furniture for your new home. This might sound simple, but its a lot more complicated than you'd expect!
One player is in charge of reading a strange building manual and the other player handles the actual building of the furniture. Both players must work together to get as close as they can to "the perfect build".
There is a catch though: neither player can see what the other one can, until the build is finished!
Development
Love You To Pieces was developed by Futuregames students in Stockholm, during a 4 week period. The team consisted of 9 people across Design, Programming and Animation/VFX.
The target audience are players who enjoy ''friend slop'' games in the vein of PEAK, REPO and similar titles.
Inspiration
The game has taken inspiration from Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes as well as TEMU and IKEA.
The aim of this project was to capture the theme of symbiosis and create an experience for the players that felt humourus and relatable.
