Lemur Dash

This game was made with the Xbox Accessibility Controller in mind. Mouse and keyboard controls are M1 for jumping and M2 for grabbing vines

Lemur Dash is an infinite runner for kids aged 10-12. The aim of the game is to get as high of a score as possible, which is determined by how far you've traveled and how many fruits you've picked up.  

The lemur sits calmly at a tree-house and eats a mango until it hears a snake hiss and dashes off to save its own skin. While running, it tries to not fall of the branches by jumping from branches and swinging on vines. As the lemur traverses the forest, it can pick up powerful fruits that grants the player helpful abilities for you to travel further. 

With simple 2 button controls and a beautiful forest to discover; Lemur Dash offers kids a great and fun way of practicing their timing, improvisation and coordination skills while fulfilling a fantasy of soaring through the treetops like a monkey. All it takes is one wrong step and you might not be getting that new high score you were looking for. 

This is the first Game Project we have made as part of our education at Futuregames. We had 3 weeks to finish this cross-site project with Programmers, Animators and Designers in Stockholm and Artists in Karlstad.
